Change PIN

The Change PIN page allows you to change the PIN for the selected user's account.  The change is permanent and the newly specified PIN will be used in Multi-Factor Authentication going forward.

 

To change the selected user's PIN:

  1. Enter a new PIN.

  2. Enter the new PIN again to confirm.

  3. Click the Save button.

Description

New PIN

Type a new PIN.  Or, you can generate the PIN by clicking the Generate button.  The PIN must adhere to the rules for PIN Minimum Length and weak PINs.

 

Generate Button

The Generate button provides a randomly generated PIN.  The generated PIN's length will be the greater of 4 digits or the user's minimum PIN length.

 

Confirm PIN

Retype the new PIN to confirm the change. Confirm PIN must match exactly.

 

PIN Change Required

Specifies that a user must change their PIN during their next Multi-Factor Authentication.

 

Note: The PIN Change Required checkbox will only be displayed if user is allowed to change their PIN.

 

Send Email

Specifies whether an email should be sent to inform the user of the update.

 

Note: The Send Email checkbox will only be displayed if email has been configured for your company.
